Senior Traveller Training Programme (S.T.T.P.)
Admission:
Open to Travellers and others over the age of 15 who have not completed either their Primary
and/or Secondary schooling. Specialist integrated courses are open to all interested parties.
Courses offered:
Art/Design, Caring for Children, Child Development and Play, Personal Effectiveness,
Consumer Awareness, Textiles (Weaving), Food and Cookery, Food and Nutrition, Machine Knitting, Mathematics,
Information Technology, Communications, Computer Applications and Computer Literacy, Personal Presentation
and Haircare, Metalwork, Horticulture, Alternate Therapy and Personal Health.
Certification:
These courses are accredited by the Further Education & Training Awards Council (FETAC)
Support Services:
Advocate: Career Guidance and Planning.
Various Counselling Services are available on request.
