Student Grant Scheme 2011/12

A single unified grant scheme has been introduced and will apply to all new entrants in the 2011/12 academic year.

Students who are entering college for the first time in 2011/12 may now apply as follows;

1.   Apply online at www.studentfinance.ie

      OR

2,    Download and print the Student Grant Application form at www.studentfinance.ie and submit the completed application to the relevant grant authority

The closing date for applications is 31st August 2011

Students are advised to submit their Student Grant Application as soon as possible.  It is not necessary to wait until the CAO offers have been issued.

Existing students in receipt of further and third level grants will have received correspondence from this office in relation to the renewal of their grant for the 2011/12 academic year, with the exception of students who have completed their course.

To facilitate the processing of applications as quickly as possible, we regret that it will not be possible for grant staff to accept telephone calls or personal callers except during the following times; From 1st August, 2011; Monday to Friday - 10am to 11am
