The involvement by County Wicklow VEC in the field of Adult and Community Education now spans a century. In 2004, 6,200 adults availed of courses and programmes on a full-time or part-time, day or evening basis. County Wicklow VEC fully embraces the whole concept of life-long learning and personal development. Courses are available from hobby and elementary levels to Degree Level and Professional Qualification Level. They are provided in the Committee's schools and Adult Education Centres. The range of programmes offered for 2010/2011 continues to expand.

Adult Education is divided into two main categories, Day Classes and Evening Classes.
