Adult Guidance Service

County Wicklow VEC has introduced a free and confidential Adult Guidance Service designed to meet the needs of:

    * All Students of the Community and Further Education Centres and Adult Learning Centres in the County.
    * Those who left school early due to lack of interest or encouragement.
    * Those who feel they have made the wrong choice in education, training or employment and want to have a second chance.
    * Those who need further qualifications to compete in today’s labour market.
    * Those who have completed a course in education or training and are not sure of their next step.
    * Those interested in returning to learning.

Services Provided:
Advice & Guidance

    * Matching your interest and skills with learning and work opportunities available.
    * Putting you in touch with the support services you need to take the next step.
    * Help with CV preparation/Job search skills/study skills, time management.
    * Presentations and information sessions for groups and individuals.

Information is collected and maintained on a wide range of learning opportunities and careers

    * Qualifications and Certification
